Rashid Equestrian holds 12th race

Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): In the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club's High Committee, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Club today held the 12th race of the 2020-2021 season at its racecourse in Raffa, Sakhir. A number of Shaikhs and representatives of race sponsors attended the nine-round race held over the Lexus cups (sponsored by the Ebrahim K. Kanoo Company), the Fattis Al-Hajri Cup for Arabian Horses and the Royal Golf Club Cup. HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad received the trophy of the Fattis Cup from Ahmed bin Rashid bin Fattis Al-Hajri, and that of the Lexus Cup for the seventh round from the board member of the Ebrahim K. Kanoo Company, Isa Kanoo. Isa Kanoo also presented the trophies of the Lexus Cups to trainer, Fawzi Nass, the winner of the second round, owner Hamad Ibrahim Al-Romaihi, the winner of the fourth round, Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the winner of the fifth round, and HH Shaikh Nader bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, the winner of the eighth round. The cups of the Royal Golf Club were presented to winning trainers, Allen Smith and Ali Jan.
