Foreign Minister receives IISS Executive Director

Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today received the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in the Middle East (IISS), Sir Tom Beckett. The two sides discussed cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Institute for Strategic Studies in the field of organising conferences and forums, including the Manama Dialogue Conference, co-organised annually by the Ministry organises and IISS. The Minister praised the outstanding efforts of IISS, and affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to continue cooperation with the institute for the benefit of both sides. He also wished Sir Tom Beckett continued success. Sir Tom Beckett expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the continuous support the Institute receives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
