Health Ministry Undersecretary holds virtual meeting with Indian ambassador

Manama, Jan. 25 (BNA): Health Ministry Undersecretary, Dr. Walid bin Khalifa Al Mena, met remotely today with Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Piyush Srivastava. At the outset of the meeting, which was held in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health and Head of the Vaccination Committee, Dr. Meriam Al Hajeri, the Health Ministry Undersecretary welcomed the ambassador, lauding strong relations between the two friendly countries. Both sides also discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the health field to serve the interests of both countries. The Indian ambassador expressed thanks and respect to Dr. Al Mena, stressing his country’s keenness on bolstering bilateral cooperation in the health field. Dr. Al Mena wished the Indian ambassador every success in his diplomatic duties to further consolidate distinguished relations and coordination in all fields.
