International Affairs Undersecretary receives Indian Ambassador

Manama, Jan. 26 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received in his office at the Ministry’s General Court today, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Piyush Srivastava. The Undersecretary for International Affairs commended the historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Republic of India at all levels, noting Bahrain's keenness to promote bilateral cooperation in order to achieve mutual interests. He also extended sincere congratulations to the Indian Ambassador on the occasion of his country's Republic Day, wishing the friendly government and people of India continued progress and prosperity. The Indian Ambassador commended the progress of close relations between both countries, expressing his country's aspiration to continue strengthening cooperation and joint coordination in a way that serves the aspirations and interests of the two friendly countries, wishing Bahrain progress and prosperity.
