Foreign Ministry Undersecretary receives Japanese ambassador

Manama, Jan. 26 (BNA): Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received in his office at the Ministry’s General Court today, the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hideki Ito. The Undersecretary for International Affairs praised the advanced level of bilateral relations with Japan and growing bilateral cooperation and coordination in various fields. He stressed promising opportunities in both countries, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain is an ideal destination for new qualitative investments within the framework of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. For his part, the Japanese ambassador expressed his country's keenness on enhancing joint bilateral cooperation and coordination with Bahrain in various fields. He commended the Kingdom's efforts in supporting regional peace and achieving progress and prosperity. The meeting also reviewed solid bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and spotlighted a number of issues of common concern.
