ASEAN discuss preparatory works for coming ACCSM
(KPL) Sixty representatives from ASEAN members’ countries gathered in Vientiane last week to discuss ASEAN civil service development, aiming at preparing works and information for the 15th ASEAN Conference on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM).
The technical officials of ASEAN members’ countries took turn to report another sides in the civil service development and discussed the up date on ACCSM project, up date on ASEAN resource centre project and they have proposed technical paper on civil service.
Laos will propose “public sector capacity development: to wards improve service delivery as a key for the upcoming 15th ACCSM Meeting at the end of October that will be hosted by Lao PDR. The ACCSM meeting will be held every two years by rotating the alphabet of ASEAN members’ countries.
The first ACCSM meeting was organized in the Philippines, 1981 and latest meeting held in Indonesia.
