Club World Cup 2020: Al Ahly Coach Disappointed Following Bayern Defeat

Doha, February 08 (QNA) - Coach of Egypt's Al Ahly Pitso Mosimane said Monday he was sad to lose 0-2 to Bayern in the semi-final of the FIFA Club World Cup competition, played at Ahmed bin Ali stadium in Qatar. Mosimane said in the press conference after the match that Al Ahly face a very strong team in Bayern Munich, highlighting that the European champions defeated teams that are much stronger than Al Ahly with heavier score lines. He added that today's match was a good opportunity for the African champions to find out where they stand among the best. He said that the team was solid defensively, but maintained that it was hard to create the balance offensively and create chances against a team as strong as Bayern Munich. Mosimane said that the team will now fight for the bronze medal in their match against Brazil's Palmeiras. (QNA)
