South Korean Parliament Speaker arrives in Bahrain

Manama, Feb.13 (BNA): South Korean Parliament Speaker Park Byeong-seug arrived today, leading a parliamentary delegation on a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He was received on arrival in Bahrain International Airport by Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, in the presence of First Deputy Speaker Mp. Abdulnabi Salman and other officials. In a statement on his arrival in Bahrain, the South Korean Parliament Speaker hailed solid bilateral relations binding the two friendly countries and peoples. He said that the delegation’s visit coincides with the festivities marking the 20th anniversary of the National Action Charter (NAC), hailing Bahrain’s strides, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. The South Korean delegation will hold a session of official talks with the Council of Representatives, the Joint Parliamentary Friendship Society, the Shura Council and other senior officials and visit major projects, factories and cultural centres.
