Bahrain-UK cooperation in infrastructure fields reviewed

Manama, Feb. 18 (BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, has discussed with the British Ambassador, Roderick Drummond, areas of joint Bahrain-UK cooperation in infrastructure projects. During a virtual meeting, the minister reviewed areas of cooperation between the two friendly countries, highlighting the steady progress of bilateral relations, and lauding UK’s expertise in the fields of works, construction and infrastructure. Khalaf expressed the Works Ministry’s desire to take advantage of the British expertise in various fields, especially sanitation, roads, construction, farm incubator projects, fish farming and household waste management in order to boost investments. Ambassador Drummond lauded the Works Ministry’s cooperation with the British Embassy to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of infrastructure, wishing the Bahrain-UK cooperation more progress.
