Bahrain condemns armed attack on UN-WFP convoy

Manama, Feb. 22 (BNA): the Kingdom of Bahrain condemned the armed attack in the Democratic Republic of the Congo which targeted a United Nations World Food Programme convoy and resulted in the demise of the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to the Congo and two other companions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed sincere condolences to the Italian government and people as well as to the family of the victims of this cowardly act, stressing its strong condemnation and denunciation of all acts of violence and extremism.
