GCC leaders affirm support to realize stability, unity in Yemen

RIYADH, May 05 (Saba) - Leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council
(GCC) affirmed their attitude to support the Yemeni stability, unity
and prosperity.

In a press conference held Monday evening in Riyadh, the Secretary
General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdulrahman Al-Attiyah said
"we are with the unified, stable and prosperous Yemen and all that
which would enhance the security of the Yemeni people and the
preservation of their unity."

Al-Attiyah pointed out that the GCC pledged to support development
efforts in Yemen through the Donors Conference, held in London in
2006, and renewed their commitments in the consultative meeting of
donors held in Sana'a recently.
