Nasser Al Khelaifi Praises Unlimited Support of Wise Leadership to Qatar Total Open Tennis Tournament

Doha, March 02 (QNA) - President of the Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation of Qatar Nasser Al Khelaifi praised Monday the unlimited support of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, which had the greatest impact on achieving the impressive successes in the tournaments held in Qatar. Al Khelaifi said that HH the Amir's attendance of the opening day of the 19th Qatar Total Open gave a push to everyone to continue working to ensure the success of the competition. He added that the gesture reflected the great support tennis is receiving from the wise leadership. He explained that the competitions started very strong, adding that he expects the competition to get a lot more exciting, especially with the start of the participation of the four top-ranked players in the tournament during the semi-final matches, after the draw kept them from playing the third round matches. The President of the Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation to the two Arab players Ons Jabeur from Tunisia and Mayar Sherif from Egypt, stressing that the federation will continue to support Arab players to help improve their levels and ranking.
