HM King congratulates Arab League secretary-general

Cairo, Mar.3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit on his reappointment for a new term. HM the King wished Abul Gheit success to enhance the work of the Arab League in order to expand political, diplomatic and development action, bolster pan-Arab solidarity and defend just Arab causes and seek to achieve Arab people’s aspirations and hopes of a secure and stable future. HM the King commended the Arab League’s efforts to consolidate pan-Arab action and unify stances in order to withstand all challenges. He reiterated Bahrain’s unwavering support to all steps undertaken by the Arab League to activate cooperation and coordination and bolster joint action, which would benefit Arab countries and peoples.
