First Deputy Speaker receives South Korean ambassador

Manama, Mar. 7 (BNA): First Deputy Speaker of the Representatives Council, Abdulnabi Salman, praised the advanced level of parliamentary relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and South Korea, voicing keenness on further boosting ties with the National Assembly of South Korea. He was speaking as he received today South Korean Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hae Kwan Chung who extended thanks to Representatives Council Speaker, Fawzia Abdullah Zainal for the invitation to South Korea’s National Assembly Speaker and his accompanying delegation to visit Bahrain. The South Korean ambassador expressed keenness on further development of relations between the two friendly countries mainly in the parliamentary field. The meeting between the Representatives Council First Deputy Speaker and the South Korean ambassador is part of the Representatives Council’s plans to bolster parliamentary relations with friendly countries and discuss cooperation with them. It also aims to highlight the kingdom’s civilisational achievements under the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
