Qatar National Football Team Continues Preparation for European 2022 Qualifiers

Doha, March 16 (QNA) - The Qatari national football team continues preparation with great enthusiasm before traveling to Hungary, in preparation for the European qualifiers, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 . The Qatari team had a training session this evening under the supervision of Spanish coach Felix Sanchez at Aspire Academy with the participation of 23 players, waiting for Al Wakrah and Al Gharafa players to join the list next Wednesday, due to their association with a confrontation between the two teams from the 21st round of the league that will take place between them tomorrow. The training witnessed great enthusiasm among all the players, as they showed great commitment to the instructions of the coach, who focused more on the tactical side, in order to ensure the readiness of the team before the kick-off in the European qualifiers. Coach Sanchez has not yet decided the list of players who will travel to Hungary next Friday, as the national team will continue its training regularly until the departure date for the three matches. The final list will be decided on the March 18. Sanchez had previously suggested a list for the national team that included the following players: Mishaal Barshim, Saad Al-Shayeb, Pedro Miguel, Salem Al-Hajri, Tariq Salman, Abdel-Karim Hassan, Khokhi, Hassan Al-Haydos, Youssef Abdel-Razzaq, Ahmed Suhail, Musab Khader, Mohamed Waad (Al-Sadd) ... Salah Zakaria, Bassam Al-Rawi and Asim Madbo Al-Muizz Ali, Karim Boudiaf, Ismail Muhammad, Muhammad Muntari, Abdullah Abdul-Salam (Al-Duhail) ... Ahmed Al-Din, Humam Al-Amin, Muayyad Hassan, Tamim Al-Muhaizeh (Al-Gharafa) Ahmed Fathi and Mahmoud Abu Nada (Al-Arabi) Abdel Aziz Hatem (Al-Rayyan) Khaled Munir (Al-Wakra). The Qatari national team will begin their European qualifying campaign against Luxembourg on the March 24 , while on March 27 they will play against the Azerbaijani national team, the first round matches will be concluded by a meeting with Ireland on the 30th. The Qatari national team plays its first three matches in the European qualifiers at Stade Ngardi Stadion in the Hungarian city of Debrecen, and has been chosen as a substitute for the Austrian Generali Arena. The European Football Association (UEFA) invited the Qatar Football Association to participate in the first teams European qualifiers for the World Cup / Qatar 2022 /, in a move that reflects the position of the State of Qatar on the international sports stage.
