Cuban film crew visits Hue

Thua Thien-Hue (VNA) - Cuban Director Carlos Manuel Rodriguez and his film crew have visited central Thua Thien-Hue province to complete the screenplay for a documentary film, entitled "Fidel Castro-Ho Chi Minh, Vietnamese-Cuban love".

The film will reflect the friendship and strategic partnership between
Vietnam and Cuba and is being made ahead of the 50 th anniversary of
diplomatic ties between the two countries.

During the visit, the film makers toured many places that President Ho Chi
Minh used to frequent as he lived and studied in Hue for 10 years,
including house No. 112 on Mai Thuc Loan street , Hue City , where
Ho Chi Minh and his family used to live.

The documentary film is being produced under an agreement between the
Mundo Latino Studio of the Cuban Party's Central Committee and the
International Press and Communications Cooperation Centre of the Vietnamese
Ministry of Information and Communications.

The film will be completed before the end of this year and will be
screened in several different languages in Vietnam , Cuba and many
other countries to mark the 50 th anniversary of Vietnamese-Cuban
diplomatic ties in 2010.-Enditem
