Customs President holds meetings with WCO officials

Manama, Mar.20 (BNA): Customs President, Head of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa held a series of online meetings with the World Customs Organisation (WCO) officials. The meetings highlighted the COVID-19 implications on the international economic situations. They hailed the success of countries and the WCO secretariat in overcoming problems through cooperation and find alternative solutions. All agreed on the importance to study the upcoming phase of the organisation within the difficult situation and its impacts on the support the WCO receives to find projects and solutions.
