Finance Minister receives Japanese ambassador

Manama, Mar. 24 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, stressed strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan and growing cooperation between both countries mainly in the economic and financial fields. He pointed out the kingdom’s keenness on further enhancing bilateral relations to achieve desired goals. The Minister of Finance and National Economy was speaking as he received today Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hideki Ito, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the kingdom. He praised the efforts made by the Japanese ambassador and his role in promoting relations and cooperation between the two friendly countries mainly in the financial and economic fields. He wished the Japanese ambassador continued success in his new duties. The Japanese ambassador expressed sincere thanks to the Minister of Finance and National Economy, lauding deep-rooted relations between the two friendly countries. He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continuous progress and prosperity.
