QNB Stars League: Al Arabi and Al Kharitiyat Coaches Aiming for Three Points

Doha, April 07 (QNA) - Icelandic coach Himir Hallgrimson confirmed the readiness of his team to face Al Kharitiyat in the 21st round of the QNB Stars League 2020-2021season, which will be held on Wednesday at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium in Al-Ahly club. "We will work to enhance the confidence of the players during the coming period to finish the season in good form, after our chances of competing for the top four and the morale of the players diminished," Hallgrimson said during the press conference held today. He added, "My mission as a coach is to rehabilitate the players psychologically and we wanted to play the last two matches in the league with high spirits, especially after we were disappointed that we did not get one of the first four places." Al Arabi coach added: "we are satisfied with the performance this season, and we made good performances in many matches, and in general it was not a bad performance, in light of the presence of many absences in the team and important players we lost, and this is why we know why we started the season badly." We are not satisfied with our current position, but in the end the coach bears the responsibility for his choices of the players who play, but we have an opportunity to prove where we want to be in the fifth or sixth place or to retreat to ninth place. It is our choice to decide where we want to end the season. " On the other hand, Wissam Rizk, the coach of Al Kharitiyat team, stressed the importance of facing his team against Al Arabi, describing the match as difficult and strong for the two teams, indicating that Al Kharaitiyat used to train despite his loss to Al Ahli in the last round. Al Kharaitiyat coach added at the press conference: "The last loss was harsh because it made our calculations about ambitions to stay in the first place, and the fact that the team played a good level in the match, but fate wanted us to lose, and now we will leave Al-Ahli's match behind us and focus on what is in front of us, which is Al Arabi's match and the need to achieve the win, and we adhere to the hopes and aspirations that remain for us, and to provide strong returns in order to achieve our goal, which is to collect the three points. " He went on to say: "We will fight for the last moment and for the last minute of the league's life because this is our duty towards the club and towards our team, and we never give up whatever the outcome." At the end of his speech, coach Wissam Rizk said: "Al-Arabi is a great team that performs its matches in a wonderful and beautiful way. We hope to win the match. " (QNA)
