NFHR President receives EU Commission Vice President

Manama, Apr. 7 (BNA): President of the National Foundation for Human Rights (NFHR), Maria Khouri, received at the foundation’s premises at Seef District the Vice President of the European Union Commission accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh. The meeting was attended by NFHR Secretary General, Yasser Ghanim Shahin. The NFHR President praised growing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union and presented a briefing on the foundation’s specialties and role in implementing the national action plan for human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Vice-President of the EU Commission thanked the NFHR President for the meeting, lauding the foundation’s efforts to protect human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
