Bahrain’s Embassy in UK holds webinar entitled “Global Outlooks in the Fight against Covid-19: Insights from the UK, Bahrain and Israel”

London, Apr. 7 (BNA): In celebration of World Health Day, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the United Kingdom co-hosted a virtual event with the UK Government and the Embassy of Israel in London, under the title “Global Outlooks in the Fight against Covid-19: Insights from the UK, Bahrain and Israel”. Speakers at the webinar were Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department of Health and Social Care, United Kingdom, Nadhim Zahawi, Head of infection control unit and Keter (Corona) departments at the Haifa-based Rambam Health Care Campus (RHCC) in Israel, Dr. Khetam Hussein, and CEO of the Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health in Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Jalila S.Jawad. it was chaired by the Chief of Health Policies and Programmes at the Supreme Council of Health and Member of the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shaaban. A diverse audience of policymakers, diplomats, academics and journalists from the three countries participated in the event, in addition to representatives of the foreign ministries of the United Kingdom, Spain, Ireland and the Netherlands, praised the importance of the event in terms of exchanging experiences among countries, and getting acquainted with advanced experiences in the field of prevention, treatment, and measures taken towards the return to normal life, taking into account the precautionary measures to eliminate the virus.
