Bahrain’s Ambassador to Rome meets Italian Chamber of Deputies lawmaker

Rome, Apr.18 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to Italy Dr. Nasser Mohammad Al-Balushi, met the Vice-President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, Paolo Formentini. The two sides discussed ways to enhance joint bilateral cooperation and emphasized the importance of involving the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council in regional discussions in support of combating terrorism and extremism. Dr. Al-Balushi noted the step taken by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in signing of the declaration of support for peace between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel, which mirrors Bahrain’s values of peace and coexistence between all countries.
