SEA President discusses investments with “Amarenco”

Manama, Apr. 21 (BNA): President of the Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza held a virtual meeting with Frances’s former Prime Minister, Francois Fillon, Executive Chairman of Amarenco Solar John Mullins. Mirza praised Amarenco expertise in the fields of generating clean energy from renewable energy resources. He highlighted its specialization in establishing, financing and operating central solar power plants as the company has worked on nearly 2,000 solar energy projects around the world since its establishment. The president briefed them on the achievements made in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector and the efforts of the Kingdom in achieving the national goals for renewable energy and energy efficiency. He pointed to the leadership’s interest for the renewable energy sector to be one of the important economic pillars in Bahrain. The delegation hailed SEA’s efforts to develop the sustainable energy sector in the Kingdom, and reviewed the company's strategies and technologies in implementing solar energy projects.
