Bahrain expresses profound sorrow over murder of Chad President

Manama, Apr. 21 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its profound regret and sorrow over the murder of President Idriss Deby Into of the Chad Republic, extending its heartfelt condolences to the family of the late President and the friendly people of Chad. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed Bahrain’s solidarity with Chad and its people, affirming its support for all efforts exerted to deescalate and promote domestic peace, in a way that would safeguard the interests of Chadian people, and meet their aspirations for peace, development and prosperity. It also called upon all parties to the conflict to resort to dialogue to reach a peaceful solution, in order to preserve the security and stability of the country.
