NBR wins 2020 SAP® Quality Award for Business Transformation

Manama, Apr. 21 (BNA): The National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) announced that it has been selected as the Silver Winner of the SAP Quality Awards for the Business Transformation MENA category. The silver award winning project is the Bahrain Integrated Tax System (BITS), which is an innovative and cloud-based Tax & Revenue Management solution developed to automate the administrative processes relating to collections, and plays a key role in maximizing VAT payers’ compliance. The solution helps administrators deliver VAT collection and revenue management with a single user view that supports multiple revenue types. On this occasion, the NBR’s Chief Executive Rana Ebrahim Faqihi commented “We are pleased with this award which recognizes the NBR’s dedicated and innovative efforts over the past year on this project, and sheds light on the importance of continuing to integrate further innovation and excellence in all service delivery streams.” NBR is the first organization in Bahrain to win this SAP Quality Award, which is a prestigious award to celebrate and recognize customers who have excelled in the implementation of their SAP software solutions by using the SAP's ten quality principles.
