Bahrain's foreign policy, diplomatic achievements spotlighted

Manama, Apr. 26 (BNA): Bahrain's foreign policy and diplomatic achievements have been spotlighted by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa at a lecture hosted by Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD). The "Bahraini Foreign Policy" lecture was part of the events lined up in the second edition of the Political Skills Program organized by the BIPD for employees of ministries and government institutions. Shaikh Abdullah highlighted several topics, including the methodology and foundations of Bahraini foreign policy at all levels, the objectives and achievements of Bahraini foreign policy, and the role of public institutions in supporting international relations in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He touched on the history of diplomacy in Bahrain that spans over more than 50 years and its successes in various important milestones. Shaikh Abdullah reviewed the developments in the Bahraini diplomacy since the launch of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and focused on the increasing interaction with various international issues. Such interaction has achieved a global presence for Bahrain in various forums and contributed to informing the world about the Kingdom's civilized vision and high level of democracy and human rights and respect for human values, he added. Shaikh Abdullah answered a wide spectrum of queries about Bahrain's foreign policy and diplomatic achievements.
