Al Arabi, Al Duhail Secure Wins in General Men's Handball League

Doha, April 29 (QNA) - Al Arabi secured 33-28 win over Al Ahli in their match today within the sixteenth round of the General Men's Handball League. Al Arabi took a 17-14 lead in the first half, and they further cemented this by five goals in the second half to clinch the victory. With this victory, Al Arabi raised their score to 42 points, which kept them at the top of the rankings, while Al Ahli's remained 31 points in sixth place. In a second match, Al Duhail defeated Al Rayyan 31-27. Al Duhail finished the first half with a 16-14 lead and then strengthened their lead in the second half to end the match with four goals difference. Al Duhail raised their score to 41 points to advance to second place temporarily, compared to 32 points for Al Rayyan in fifth place. (QNA)
