Marquise Lopez of Al Wakarh Named Best Coach for April

Doha, May 04 (QNA) - Marquez Lopez of Al Wakrah has been named as the 2020-21 season QNB Stars Leagues Best Coach for the month of April, 2021, according to STATS, the official statistics and figures provider for the Qatar Stars League. Under Marquez, Al Wakrah played three matches, won two of them and drew one game to remain unbeaten and collect seven points. The Blue Wave drew 0-0 with Al Khor in Week 20, beat Al Gharafa 2-0 in Week 21 (the match was played on 16th March instead of 3rd April due to Al Gharafas AFC Champions League play-off against Uzbekistans FC AGMK) and defeated Al Kharaitiyat 2-0 in Week 22. During the period, Al Wakrah scored four goals and conceded none. Lopez is considered one of the distinguished coaches on the football scene, and he led Al Wakrah to achieve good results in a number of matches, whether this season or the last season of QNB Stars League.
