Bahrain-EU relations, cooperation discussed

Manama, May 4 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister, Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received here today the Riyadh-resident President of the European Commission Delegation to Bahrain, Patrick Simonet. The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation mechanisms, in addition to issues of mutual interest. The Industry Minister lauded the solid relations and distinguished fruitful cooperation between Bahrain and the European Union, stressing the importance of broadening joint cooperation to achieve common interests.
