HH the Amir Cup Final Postponed

Doha, May 11 (QNA) - The Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced the postponement of the final of the forty-ninth edition of HH the Amir Cup for the 2020-2021 sports season, which was scheduled to be held at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Sports Club on Friday between Al Sadd Club and Al Rayyan Club. The postponement decision came after the announcement of the gradual lifting of the restrictions that were recently imposed in the country in several stages to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID19), especially with regard to local and international sporting events in which public attendance is allowed in certain numbers in open places, provided that they receive vaccination. The new date for the final match will be announced later after full coordination with all relevant authorities, especially the Ministry of Public Health. (QNA)
