Myanmar`s Suu Kyi not in good health, her party says

YANGON, May 9 Kyodo -
Myanmar's detained opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi is suffering from low
blood pressure and dehydration, her party said Saturday.
Suu Kyi's doctor Pyone Mo Ei, who visited her Friday, put the opposition leader
on a three-hour intravenous drip to cure her dehydration, spokesman from the
National League for Democracy Nyan Win said.
''Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is not in good health,'' Nyan Win said.
Pyone has asked the authorities for permission to visit Suu Kyi again, Nyan Win
said.
''We are worried about her health condition,'' he added.
