Kyrgyzstani Bazarkulov wins first license for 16th Paralympic Games in Tokyo

Bishkek, May 19, 2021 . / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstani Arstanbek Bazarkulov won the first license in Paralympic athletics (shot put) for the 16th Paralympic Games to be held from Aug. 24 to Sept. 5, 2021 in Tokyo (Japan). As a result of performances at three licensing tournament, Bazarkulov fulfilled the Paralympic standard and won a ticket to the Paralympic Games. He placed fifth in the shot put at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix licensing tournament in Dubai, UAE, held on Feb. 6-14. In the Grand Prix tournament in Tunisia (March 13-22), the Kyrgyzstani took the 4th place, and in the world Grand Prix tournament in Nottville (Switzerland, May 7-18) with a score of 7.98 m he won a bronze medal.
