Interior Minister receives new 5th Fleet Commander

Manama, May 20 (BNA): Minister of Interior, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received today new US Naval Forces Central Command, US 5th Fleet and Combined Maritime Forces Commander Vice-Admiral Charles Bradford. The Interior Minister welcomed the Commander and wished him the best in his new assignment in serving the interests of the two countries. They also reviewed bilateral relations, security cooperation and issues of common interest. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commander of the Coast Guard.
