Bahrain, Kuwait discuss cooperation in youth field

Manama, May 20 (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Minister, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyad, today held a virtual meeting with the Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdurrahman Baddah Al-Mutairi. Support and Initiatives Assistant Undersecretary at the Youth and Sports Affairs Ministry, Sarra Eshaq, participated in the remote meeting. Al-Moayyad welcomed the Kuwaiti minister, stressing the importance of strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries across various fields, especially youth, in accordance with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait. Al-Mutairi lauded the depth of the long-standing robust brotherly Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, and their steady progress at all levels. The Youth Minister highlighted the kingdom’s strategy to support the youth sector through initiatives and programmes that contribute to investing in Bahraini youth in order to enable them to develop their skills in various fields. Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs briefed the session on his country’s strategy, programmes and activities to develop the youth sector. The two sides discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries in the youth sector, ways to enhance joint youth action and means to take advantage of each other’s successful experiences in the youth development field.
