Bahraini Ambassador to Italy meets FAO official

Rome, May 28 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Italian Republic, Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balooshi, met virtually with the Head of the Right to Food Team at the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), Juan Carlos Garcia, in the presence of Serenelle Papimino, and Simon Blomdao from the Office of Legal Affairs and Huda Alsahi at the same organization. Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balooshi welcomed the Head of the Right to Food team, Juan Carlos Garcia, within the framework of strengthening the ongoing constructive cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Nations Organisation, praising its role in the international community. The meeting aimed to strengthen relations with the Food and Agriculture Organisation and its programmes on food security and the right to food, as well as to discuss ways to make the best use of these important programmes.
