Bahraini-Russian youth, sports cooperation discussed

Manama, June 10 (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Minister, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyad, today held a virtual meeting with the Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs in Russia, Ksenia Razuvaeva, with the participation of the Assistant Undersecretary for Support and Initiatives, Sara Eshaq. The minister highlighted the depth of the Bahraini-Russian relations across all fields, particularly youth, affirming the Ministry’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Russia in the fields that enable youth in the two countries to develop their capabilities and skills. The Head of the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs lauded the ongoing cooperation between the two countries across all fields, especially youth, stressing the importance of continuing joint cooperation in order to launch joint projects that serve the youth movement in the two countries. During the meeting, Minister Al-Moayyad shed light on the youth and sports events and programmes provided by Bahrain to invest in youth, in addition to the training opportunities delivered to youth in order to enable them to develop their skills and empower them in all fields. Ksenia Razuvaeva also cast light on Russia’s policies and strategies to develop the youth sector and train youngsters in all fields. The two sides discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries in the youth and sports sector, as well as means to take advantage of the two countries’ successful experiences in developing the youth sector.
