Qualifiers for the Arab Cup Hosted by Khalifa International Stadium and Jassim bin Hamad at Al Sadd Club

Doha, June 15 (QNA) - The Local Organizing Committee of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 announced the readiness of Khalifa International Stadium, one of the 2022 World Cup stadiums, and Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Sports Club, to host the qualifiers for the tournament organized by Qatar at the end of this year.
The 14 lowest-ranked teams, according to the ranking of national teams issued by the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), compete in the qualifiers to reserve seven qualifying cards for the tournament finals.
T he qualifiers will witness seven matches from June 19-25, with one match per day at eight in the evening local time. Sudan on June 21 at Khalifa International Stadium.
On June 22, the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium will witness a confrontation between the teams of Mauritania and Yemen, and the Lebanon team will meet Djibouti on June 23 at the Khalifa International Stadium, and Jassim bin Hamad Stadium will meet on June 24 between the teams of Palestine and Comoros, with the Arab Cup qualifiers ending on 25 June with a Gulf confrontation hosted by Khalifa International Stadium between the teams of Bahrain and Kuwait.
The seven qualified teams from the qualifying stage will join the nine teams that qualified directly for the finals of the tournament after topping the list of Arab teams in the FIFA rankings, namely Qatar - the host country, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, UAE and Syria.
Match tickets are available on the Qatar Football Association website, and the fan wishing to attend the qualifying competitions must be at least 12 years old, have received two doses of the anti-Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, or have recovered from infection with the virus during the past nine months .
The Local Organizing Committee calls on fans to use public transportation, especially the Doha Metro, during match days, as both competition stadiums are located a short distance from one of the metro stations on the Golden Line, as the Sports City station is located a few steps away from Khalifa International Stadium, in When Sudan station is located near Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
