Political Affairs Undersecretary meets Pakistani Ambassador

Manama, June 17 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today met virtually the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Muhammad Ayub. During the meeting, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah congratulated the ambassador of the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan on his appointment to his position, wishing him success in his diplomatic duties. He stressed his delight over the depth of the historical and close relations between the two friendly countries, praising the advanced level of bilateral relations in various fields. The Pakistani ambassador expressed his country's aspiration to strengthen the existing close friendship and cooperation relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
