Qatar's MOPH: Total Recoveries of COVID-19 Increase to 218,435

Doha, June 21 (QNA) - The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) reported on Monday 88 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 among community and 42 among travelers. The MOPH recorded 191 recoveries from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 218,435. The MOPH issued a statement on COVID-19 developments in Qatar, which said the following: New Cases and Recoveries: - 88 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 among community and 42 among travelers were announced on Monday. - 191 people have recovered from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 218,435. National COVID-19 Vaccination Program Data: - 2,898,814 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered since the start of the program. - 12,491 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the past 24 hours. - 70 percent of the eligible population has now received at least one dose of the vaccine. - 95.3 percent of over 60s (the most vulnerable population group) have been vaccinated with at least one dose, while 89.8 percent have received both doses.
