HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa congratulates HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak

Manama, June 23 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President, sent a cable of congratulations to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, on the inauguration of the “Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Centre for Women, Peace and Security” in the United Arab Emirates. In the cable, HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa hailed the move which comes as part of the pioneering initiatives of HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak to empower women and enable them the nation, become an essential factor for the stability of societies and contribute to regional and global security and peace. She praised HH Sheikha Fatima’s drive to serve women-related issues in order to top the national and international development agenda, wishing the new pioneering initiative success. She reiterated Bahrain’s support to all sincere efforts aimed at supporting women to participate in peace operations and contribute to development conducive to more progress and prosperity.
