FIFA Arab Cup Qatari 2021: Coaches of Palestine and Comoros Announce Qualification Challenge

Doha, June 23 (QNA) - The coaches of the Palestinian national team and the Comoros Islands announced their will to qualify for the finals and their quest to win the match that brings them together tomorrow Thursday in the qualifiers for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatari 2021.
This was stated in the press conference for the match, which was held today.
Tunisian Makram Daboub, coach of the Palestinian national football team, confirmed that the chances of facing the Comoros national team tomorrow will be equal, stressing that their goal is to win and qualify for the finals, despite realizing the difficulty of the task against a team that has shown great development in recent years.
The coach of the Palestinian team expressed his thanks to the local organizing committee of the tournament for hosting, appreciating the great hospitality that the team received and the great facilities provided to it since its arrival, praising the facilities and training grounds, considering that the tournament will come out in the best form and wonderful organization.
He believes that the match will be difficult against this team. At the same time, he said, "We knew that some of the professional players in the Comoros national team will not be present in the match, and therefore this will be a positive thing for us to win and qualify."
On the preparations, he explained, "The team prepared well after it competed in the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and the Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia. We count on that readiness to win and reach the finals, which will be a historic championship after being held under the umbrella of The International Football Association (FIFA) and the World Cup stadiums in the State of Qatar, which has great capabilities to organize the best and largest tournaments, and our great confidence in the Qatari brothers to organize a distinguished Arab World Cup, and therefore we aspire to be among the elite teams that will participate in this great historical event.
For his part, Younes Zardouk, assistant coach of the Comoros national team, expressed his admiration for the organizational efforts of the State of Qatar, which he touched on during his preparations for his country's participation in the Arab Cup qualifiers/FIFA Arab Cup Qatari 2021 match against Palestinians tomorrow.
Zardouk thanked the organizers of the competitions, stressing the global capabilities that Doha possesses, and the finest professional preparations he witnessed, and said: This makes us more determined and eager to win the Palestine match to return in the championship again, and this also places upon us the necessity of protecting ourselves from the Coronavirus (Covid-19) because of the great interest we witnessed during our time in the medical bubble.
When asked about the preparations for tomorrows match, he answered: We started preparing for the match by choosing the players, and then going to the training, and we were scheduled to play two friendlies in France that we did not play due to the lack of conditions for holding the two matches, and in all cases, we are ready to present a good match against the Palestinian team and win to participate in the tournament.
He added: "We did our best to prepare for the match, and there is great interest from all the players, and they have a professional mentality and know very well how important the match is".
Regarding his information about the Palestinian team, he said: "The Palestinian team has prepared; But they changed the coach after the Saudi match, and the team will spare no effort in the match and we are ready for that, as we analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent and put the appropriate formation that enables us to win the match, we will not leave anything to luck during this important match.
