BACA President receives NCC chief

Manama, June 27 (BNA): President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received the Chief Executive Officer of the National Communication Centre (NCC), Yousif Al-Binkhalil, with whom she discussed ways to cooperate in promoting Bahrain’s cultural movement locally, regionally and internationally. Shaikha Mai lauded NCC’s ongoing constructive cooperation with BACA in order to place the cultural activities on the map of its work, stressing the importance of promoting Bahrain’s cultural movement in a way that highlights the kingdom’s authentic identity regionally and globally. NCC chief congratulated Shaikha Mai on her election as a member of the Board of Trustees of the World Monument Fund. He also expressed delight over the ongoing cooperation with BACA whose projects seek to promote the kingdom. He also said that the NCC’s media briefing aims to shed light on the main projects, initiatives and achievements of the government.
