CO-PILOT SUSPECTED OF SUFFERING FROM SWINE FLU

Bandung, W Java, May 12 (ANTARA) - The Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung, West Java, is now providing treating a co-pilot suspected to have contracted swine flu, a hospital spokesman said.

"We have received a patient sent by Husein Sastranegara airport. He arrived at the hospital at 5.26 pm on Monday. He is suspected to have been infected with the type A influenza virus (H1N1 virus)," Dr Pirmal Soedjana, a member of the hospital's Special Infection Handling Team, said.

He said that the patient, before being admitted to the hospital, had made several overseas trips such as trips to Singapore and Malaysia.***4***
