KPK GRILLS HEALTH MINISTRY SECRETARY GENERAL
Jakarta, May 12 (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) grilled as witness the secretary general of the Health Ministry, Dr Sjafii Ahmad, over alleged corruption in the procurement of the ministry's medical equipment worth Rp4.8 billion.
KPK spokesman Johan Budi said here on Tuesday that the suspects in the case were Mardiono, planning bureau chief of the ministry, and another health ministry officer in charge of making commitment in the medical equipment procurement.
The project which was suspected to have been marked up was the procurement of Rontgen devices for health community centers in all disadvantaged regions worth Rp15.7 billion.***4***
