Saudi-Dutch Scientific and Educational Accord Signed

Riyadh, May 12, SPA -- Acting Minister of Higher Education Dr Mutlab
al-Nafeesa and Foreign Minister of the Netherlands Maxime Verhagen
signed here today a scientific and educational cooperation agreement
between the Saudi Higher Education Ministry and the Dutch Ministry of
Education, Culture and Sciences.

Under the agreement, the two countries will forge cooperation in
higher education and exchange of books, publications, bulletins,
periodicals, documents, computer programs, films and other issues
pertaining to higher education and scientific research works.

The five-year agreement also stipulated participation in
conferences, seminars and scientific and educational workshops.
