ACTA, QFBA Sign MoU

Doha, July 05 (QNA) - The Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) and the Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide annual training programs and advisory projects that benefit the authority and its target entities. HE ACTA President Hamad bin Nasser Al Misnad and Chief Executive Officer of QFBA Dr. Khalid Al Horr signed the MoU. According to the MoU, the two parties will implement several training programs and advisory projects that are presented annually to candidates targeted by the authority and its departments in the government sector, with a focus on any additional support to the authority and stakeholders to enhance their capabilities through training and consultations. The MoU includes that QFBA will develop and implement several training programs to organize the mechanism for preparing programs submitted to ACTA and prepare them according to the requirements of the training needs of the authority. It also stipulates that ACTA shall coordinate with QFBA to provide any additional training course or workshop to ensure efficiency and quality in designing and delivering program content by employing the latest tools and techniques from trainers and curricula. HE ACTA President expressed his pleasure to cooperate with ACTA, pointing out that this constructive cooperation aims to invest in human resources and develop the competencies of cadres in the authority. CEO of QFBA stressed that the MoU signing enhances bilateral cooperation between the two sides, pointing to the academy's full readiness to meet the training requirements that enhance the role of the authority, expressing his aspiration for QFBA to strengthen efforts to prepare and develop training programs in cooperation with the authority based on its pivotal role in supporting Qatar National Vision 2030. He said that QFBA possesses extensive and accumulated experiences of trainers, experts and consultants in training programs and various advisory projects, which would contribute to enhancing ACTA's role, noting that the academy's strategy is based on investing in human capital in the State of Qatar to complete the building of a knowledge-based economy.
