Al-Watan Highlights Qatar's Keenness to Present an Exceptional Tournament for FIFA World Cup 2022

Doha, July 06 (QNA) - Al-Watan newspaper affirmed in its editorial Tuesday that the State of Qatar will present to the whole world an exceptional tournament by hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, drawing attention that the facilities and events of the tournament will all be interconnected in a way that ensures the preservation of the environment, and each fan's experience will be drawn according to what he likes. The paper pointed out that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is going to be the first time the world's biggest football tournament will be hosted on an Arab land. The newspaper noted that the tournament will be the first in terms of close distances between stadiums, which will make it easy for fans to attend two matches in one day, as the journey between any of the FIFA World Cup stadiums in Qatar will not take more than one hour, which means that fans can cheer their favorite team at Al Janoub Stadium, south of Doha, in a match that will be held during the afternoon, and then join the excitement in another match to be held at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor City, northern Qatar, in the evening of the same day.
