Health Minister receives Bahraini Ambassador to Israel

Manama, July 7 (BNA): Health Minister, Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh, today received the Bahraini Ambassador to the State of Israel, Khalid Yousif Al-Jalahma, and congratulated him on his appointment to his post. During the meeting, attended by the Health Ministry’s Undersecretary, Dr. Waleed Al-Manea, the minister lauded the steps taken to start building friendship relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel, expressing pride in the efforts to strengthen relations across all fields in the near future, particularly health. They discussed areas of cooperation in the field of health services, including exchanging expertise, training and visits of experts and medical consultants, in addition to cooperation in medical research, medical industries and therapeutic tourism, as well as in modern digital technology, and electronic linkage in health systems and records. The envoy expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Health Ministry –Minister and high management- for their efforts to protect the health and safety of everyone in the kingdom, affirming his readiness to enhance cooperation between the two countries, especially in the health sector. Concluding the meeting, Minister Al-Saleh expressed thanks and appreciation to Ambassador Al-Jalahma and his accompanying delegation, wishing him every success in carrying out his diplomatic duties. She affirmed Bahrain’s firm approach aimed at promoting peace and tolerance, as the best means to strengthen the pillars of development and stability in the region and the world.
