Umm Salal Club Holds its General Assembly

Doha, July 07 (QNA) - Umm Salal Club held a general assembly meeting after the completion of the quorum, headed by HE President of Umm Salal Sport Club Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Hassan Al-Thani, and in the presence of HE Vice President Sheikh Tamim bin Mohammed Al-Thani. HE President of Umm Salal Sport Club Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Hassan Al-Thani stressed during the meeting that the current stage will witness the preparation of Umm Salal club in the required manner in preparation for the competitions of the new football season of QNB Stars League 2021-2022. His Excellency said that the club succeeded last season in ensuring to stay with the most important clubs, and this was one of the club's goals, noting that they are working hard to prepare the first team for the next season. His Excellency revealed that the club will start establishing a special academy and the smart club, and it was agreed with a number of senior athletes to supervise and prepare for these two projects. At the meeting, the Ordinary General Assembly meeting, which was held in August 2020, was ratified, where HE the Club President presented a report on the last season and approved the strategic plan for the next season. His Excellency expressed his thanks and appreciation to all members of the club for the efforts made during the last period. The final budget for the ending fiscal year and the draft budget for the next year were approved. In addition to discussing the auditor's report and estimating fees for the next fiscal year, which will end next May. (QNA)
