Deputy Premier meets US Chargé d'Affairs

Manama, July 8 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa met virtually with US Chargé d'Affairs Ethan Goldrich. The meeting discussed and exchanged views on various issues and topics of common interest. The deputy prime minister noted the strong historical relations between Bahrain and USA, the cooperation and strategic partnership between the two friendly countries in various fields, expressing his best wishes to the USA and its people on the Independence Day. He affirmed the Kingdom's keenness to enhance joint work and mutual coordination with the USA towards regional and international issues for the good of the two countries and peoples, and in a manner that contributes to maintain the security and stability of the region. The chargé d’affaires expressed his appreciation to the deputy prime minister, stressing his country's keenness to raise the level of relations with the Kingdom by investing in the long and distinguished historical relations between the two countries for the good of their peoples.
